The concept of chivalry originated in Northern France, and is taken from the French word chevalerie, which means horse soldiery (or knights). Even though knighthood was left in the dust in the Middle-Ages, chivalry is still important today, especially in the game of seduction and romance.

So what makes a man chivalrous? It can be boiled down to a few specific virtues, such as truth, honor, loyalty, love, and courtesy. 1. Truth
Being truthful with your partner is the greatest form of respect, and sets the stage for romance. But sometimes the truth hurts, and you need to proceed with tact.

– Avoid texting too late at night, or too early in the morning (you could ruin her beauty sleep!).
– Begin the first text message in a series by saying hello plus her name. “Hey Kathryn…”
– Send a heartfelt thank you after a date (calling is also a great idea).
– Compliment and notice changes, such as her new hair-cut, or a pair of sexy new shoes.
For example:
“Killer outfit, fantastic conversation, gorgeous girl. Thanks for the wonderful evening!”
“Those are some hot new heels you bought…mind bringing them over later? I need a closer look”
5. Romantic love
As anyone who has ever been in a relationship can vouch, it takes a lot of work to keep the romance alive.
Guess what? texting can be your ally. Use a mixture of different message types to make your partner feel special.
For example:
Flatter her intelligence:
“I’m amazed by how fast you figured out your new job…you’re one smart cookie (a cute cookie that is ☺).”
Let her know she’s on your mind:
“Missing your warm body next to mine.”
Make her feel special with a creative name:
“Hey there my little sex kitten…”
